We left Steamboat Springs and traveled down Hwy. 131 to Interstate 70W and then to Rifle. Rifle Gap State Park is about 12 miles north of the town of Rifle. It is a great state park with a huge lake.
Jimmy tried out his kayak, first time since it flew off the back of the camper. He repaired and at least he didn't sink!!! I took this picture from our campsite!
I took this photo from the other side of our campsite with the lake and mountains in the backgrounds. Colorado State Parks are really nice...
